Swedish IPCO has always been committed to optimizing and upgrading production processes in the chemical and materials science fields through innovative molding and processing technologies. In response to the long-standing granulation problems of highly abrasive powders and solid materials such as catalysts and sulfur bentonite in traditional industrial production, IPCO, leveraging its profound engineering expertise, has launched the Rotoform 4G AS equipment specifically designed for harsh conditions, which can achieve efficient and uniform granulation of abrasive and easily settling melts, providing reliable technical support for chemical enterprises to achieve safe transportation, standardized storage, and efficient reprocessing.
As a global professional industrial process solution provider and precision steel strip manufacturer, Swedish IPCO has always been dedicated to optimizing and upgrading production processes in the chemical and materials science fields through innovative molding and processing technologies. In response to the long-standing granulation problems of highly abrasive powders and solid materials such as catalysts and sulfur bentonite in traditional industrial production, IPCO, relying on its profound engineering expertise, has launched the Rotoform 4G AS equipment specifically designed for harsh conditions, which can achieve efficient and uniform granulation of abrasive and easily settling melts, providing reliable technical support for chemical enterprises to achieve safe transportation, standardized storage, and efficient reprocessing.
Mature process, one-step cooling and forming of steel strips

The Rotoform 4G AS incorporates the core technology of IPCO Rotoform and efficiently combines the fabric device with the steel belt cooling machine. The molten material is formed into droplets by the porous outer drum and evenly falls onto the continuously running steel belt. Below the steel belt, water spraying is used for temperature control to achieve heat transfer. The droplets are rapidly cooled and solidified under controlled conditions, ultimately forming uniform hemispherical particles.

Based on the mature granulation process of IPCO, the Rotoform series can directly shape the molten material into solid particles with high density, uniform shape and strong fluidity in one step. These particles are convenient for loading, storage and reprocessing. Its dust-free, zero cross-contamination and low-emission process characteristics have achieved a deep integration of efficient and green production. It not only improves quality and production capacity but also reduces operating costs for enterprises and enhances market competitiveness.

Innovative design, overcoming the problems of high abrasion and easy sedimentation

Unlike other granulation equipment, Rotoform 4G AS is a device specifically designed for processing granulation processes involving abrasive and prone-to-deposit melts. Such melts typically contain solid components in powder or ground form, with strong abrasive properties. To effectively address the processing challenges of these products, IPCO has incorporated several special designs in the equipment structure and production process:

• Low-capacity processing: Control the amount of materials in the processing flow, reduce the number of solid particles existing simultaneously in the system, and decrease the possibility of solid separation.

• High-flow rate process: Increases the flow speed of materials within the equipment, significantly reducing the separation time of solid particles.

• Eliminate "dead corners": Optimized the internal design of the system, eliminating the physical "dead corners" that could cause the separation of products prone to settling.

• Simplify moving parts: Reduce the number of moving parts in the overall design to minimize friction losses and extend the service life of the equipment.

The launch of Rotoform 4G AS has enabled the efficient processing of a variety of materials that were previously difficult to granulate. These materials are applicable to:

Nickel catalyst (containing up to 30% sharp-edged nickel powder)

Sulfur bentonite

Stearate

Wax and solid suspension

Global verification, stable operation under harsh conditions

Based on over a hundred years of technological accumulation in the industrial manufacturing field, the IPCO Rotoform granulation system has been implemented in more than 2,500 sets worldwide. It has undergone industrial-scale verification under various working conditions and materials, and has been fully verified under different working conditions and materials. Among them, the specially designed Rotoform 4G AS has a maximum feed temperature of up to 250°C, a processing viscosity upper limit of 40,000 mPas, a maximum particle size of 36 mm, and a maximum production capacity of 5 tons per hour per unit, providing a practical and feasible solution for related enterprises to achieve an efficient balance between product quality, production efficiency, and operating costs.
